Hani Nakshabandi was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was the editor of Sadiyah, a London-based Arab women's magazine. He recently moved to Dubai, where he is editor in chief of Al Majallah and presents topical news show Hiwar Hani for Middle East Media Services. His first novel, Ikhtiras (The Interloper) was published in Arabic by Dar al Saqi, and his new novel Sallam was launched in Dubai in October 2008.
