Julia Glass is an American writer who lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Three Junes, her debut novel, caused a stir when it won the National Book Award in 2002, described by the chair of the fiction panel as a “novel of sweeping, symphonic grace”. She followed this with two further books: The Whole World Over (2006) and the recently published I See You Everywhere (2008). She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts, and her short stories have been honoured with three Nelson Algren Awards and the Tobias Wolff Award.
