Leah Fielding is the Senior Editor for Spinneys FOOD magazine and Jumeirah International. She has lived in Dubai for over three years and has been a journalist for 15 years. Born in Bath, England, Leah began her career in journalism after she graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA Hons degree in Modern English Studies. Leah entered the world of media with her first position as a Feature’s Editor for an Internet magazine. After working for various travel titles and newspapers, Leah worked in the Books Department as a Deputy Editor for the Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP) in Bristol, UK, before moving to Dubai with her husband. At IOP, Leah was responsible for publishing projects from contract to submission into production. Many of the authors expressed their personal thanks for her work and she has been mentioned by many in the prefaces of their books.
Leah joined Motivate Publishing in 2005. Having worked for a variety of titles she has finally settled into a magazine which focuses on her greatest passion: food. Since joining FOOD magazine, Leah has become a ‘foodie’ in every way. Working and living in Dubai has enabled her to experience a range of dishes from a variety of cultures and this is reflected in the magazine.
